Who Builds Them
PyxelJam Tools are made by the team behind PyxelJam Studio, an AI film studio for movies, series, microdramas and ads. Each tool is a part of the studio opened up for anyone to use: the same shot planning, the same prompt rules for each video model, the same price list.
Where Prices and Model Facts Come From
Prices are the public API list prices each model provider publishes, per second of video or per image, in US dollars. Once a week an automated check compares every rate we use with the providers' own price lists. When a rate no longer matches, that model is taken off the public pages until a person has confirmed the new number. The date of the last check is shown next to every price.
Model facts (clip lengths, resolutions, sound, dialogue, end frames, reference images) come from each provider's documentation and from running the models in production. Where the documentation and the model's real behaviour disagree, we list what the model actually does.
What Happens to What You Paste In
- Browser tools (the cost calculator, the safe-zone checker, Lighting Lab's rig builder) run entirely on your device. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
- Writing tools (script to shot list, prompt translator, microdrama pitch check) send your text to our server, where an AI model writes the result. We keep the input and result so your link keeps working and so a repeat request is instant. We do not train AI models on what you paste, and we never publish it.
- Uploaded stills in Lighting Lab are read once to estimate the lighting and are not stored.
- Email is only asked for to unlock an export or a full report, and only used to send it and, if you agree, occasional notes about new tools.
Limits
Writing tools have a daily allowance per visitor, so the tools stay free for everyone. The allowance resets every day.
Corrections
If a price or a model fact looks wrong, tell us through the help center and we will check it the same week.
Citing the Data
The model spec sheet and its JSON are free to reuse with a link back to the page.
